For more than three decades these attributes have been applied at the crossroad connecting education, business, and technology. In addition to progressive leadership at Cornell University , Mr. Mc Daniel has been cofounder of several e-business ventures and has taught extensively, both in a college context and professional seminars. He has also authored multiple publications including two books.

As an individual McDaniel consciously seeks to live out his Christian worldview with integrity, regularly devoting a significant portion of his time and resources to serving others. Rich is father to Erin, Jason, and Ryan who have all grown into thoughtful, caring and disciplined adults. He is a devoted husband to Gretchen, his best friend and life partner.
